Before I start making my move…

Filed under: My Circle of Life

I’m about to leave for New Zealand again in a few hours time. These 94 days back home, will be one the times I will cherish most thus far in my life.

It kicked-off with my practical work in a tray-processing company which lasted for 6 weeks, 6 eye-opening weeks. Within the same period, it was great to meet up with pals from secondary school life again. I do have to admit that many things weren’t the same as it was when we were back in school, time really pushed us apart. Everyone changed at least a little, including myself. And yeah, how can I forget the two grannies who greeted my return with a cake emoticon. Thank you. And yeah… the granny who I helped reformatting her laptop, you still owe me lunch emoticon Sunway people… no comments on you people, all of you are still the same - minus the few I did not have the opportunity to meet - Uncle Panda and Rachel. emoticon

Never I felt so attached to my family before. Maybe it was due to the distance that separated us for 10-long-months. I can see age is catching up with them and the cycle of life which is shifting phase. All my grandparents are no longer here. My parents are in their 50s, I am about to hit 20. My 7 years younger brother’s height is on par with me now, darn. I will expect a lot of red samans in my mailbox or e-mail in 5 to 7 years time emoticon

Gonna miss my family
Gonna miss Miss Oinky
Gonna miss my friends, whether remaining in Malaysia or heading or already headed overseas

But life has to move on right? emoticon
I have a prophecy to fulfil.

Look to the sky, lift my spirits set it free
Someday I will walk tall with pride
Son of Man in time I’ll be emoticon

Good bye Malaysia, here I come again Christchurch. Game on. emoticon
